Nyssa Skate Park Rules 1. Skate at your own risk. (Your sport, your skull, your choice. Serious injury may result from being hit by a board, falling or colliding. The city does not assume responsibility for injuries.) 2. This is YOUR skate park, please take care of it. Use the broom provided. Clean surface = smooth ride. Hit a rock and you might face plant! 3. The use of protective equipment, including HELMETS, KNEE AND ELBOW PADS and WRIST GUARDS is STRONGLY recommended. 4. Skate respectfully and be respectful of other park users. (Or you may be introduced to the Nyssa Police Department on a formal basis.) 5. Use trash containers provided. (True skaters trash their wheels and boards, NOT their skate park.) 6. Alcohol, tobacco products, drugs and glass containers are NOT allowed. ('Nuff said.) 7. Additional obstacles or other materials, like ramps and jumps, may not be used. (The skate park was designed this way for a reason.) 8. Do not use when surface is wet. (The surface gets too slippery to be safe.) 9. This facility is not supervised. Use at your own risk! (So do the right thing!) 10. No motorized vehicles. Thank you! Skate Park Closes at Dusk
